    We take the time to understand your personal style, needs and wedding setting before advising on the cloth, silhouette and design details. We then take your measurements and refine the silhouette according to your individual proportions.

  2. Fitting & Adjustments

    Fitting & Adjustments

    You will try on your garment to assess the fit and silhouette. For wedding garments, we recommend bringing your wedding shoes and accessories to help complete the overall look. Ikigai Tailoring will make the necessary adjustments to prepare the garment for the next fitting.

  3. Finalisation & Collection

    Finalisation & Collection

    Once all necessary adjustments have been completed, you may attend a final fitting to confirm the fit and overall appearance before collecting your garment.

We recommend starting the Made-to-Measure process at least 8–12 weeks before your wedding. This allows sufficient time for consultation, garment production, fittings and any necessary alterations. For weddings with a fixed date, we recommend booking your consultation as early as possible.
The garment typically takes approximately 6–8 weeks to complete. This includes the production period, fittings and any necessary alterations. The actual timeframe may vary depending on the design, cloth selection and time of year.
You are welcome to bring images or references of styles you like, along with details of your wedding such as the venue, theme or your partner’s attire. If you have already chosen your wedding shoes or accessories, you may also bring them so we can consider the overall look.
Absolutely. We can advise on cloth, colour and design choices that are appropriate for your wedding while remaining versatile enough to wear on other occasions. Our aim is to create a suit that can continue to be part of your wardrobe for many years after the wedding day.
For your first Made-to-Measure commission, you will have at least one fitting once the garment has been completed. Further fittings and alterations will be arranged as needed to achieve the appropriate fit.
For wedding garments, we recommend bringing your wedding shoes and any accessories you plan to wear on the day, allowing us to assess and refine the overall look as accurately as possible.
