Ikigai Tailoring offers a personalised Made-to-Measure tailoring service, developed around each client’s individual needs to create garments with an accurate fit and a flattering silhouette.
We place emphasis on three core principles of tailoring: fit, cloth and finishing. From refining the silhouette to complement your individual proportions and physique, selecting the right cloth for your style and intended use, to the care given to every seam and finishing detail, each element is thoughtfully considered to create a garment that is balanced, refined and comfortable to wear.
Our Made-to-Measure service encompasses suits, blazers, trousers, shirts and garments for special occasions. Clients can explore a wide selection of cloths sourced from Italy and the United Kingdom, alongside a range of options for styling and design details. We guide and advise you throughout the process, ensuring each garment is tailored to fit you and reflect your individual character.
We believe a considered tailoring experience begins with understanding and connection between the advisor and the wearer. At Ikigai Tailoring, we listen, advise and guide you through every decision — from silhouette and cloth to the finishing details. With our expertise in tailoring, we make it easier for you to find the right choices and create a style that is truly your own.

For clients experiencing Made-to-Measure for the first time, the initial appointment is an opportunity for Ikigai Tailoring to understand your personal style, needs and how you envision your garments. From there, we will advise you on cloth, silhouette and design details, before taking the necessary measurements.
Throughout the fitting and adjustment process, you will experience the distinctive Ikigai Tailoring silhouette. Together, we will discuss fit, proportions and any adjustments required to ensure the garment feels natural, comfortable and suited to your individual physique.
Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours for the initial consultation and measurements.
Your garment will be completed within approximately 6–8 weeks. Once it is ready, we will arrange an appointment for you to try on the garment and make any minor adjustments where necessary.
This is also an ideal opportunity to discuss and try accompanying accessories or garments to help complete the overall look.
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes per fitting. The number of fittings will typically range from two to three appointments, depending on the adjustments required.
Once your garment has been completed, you may arrange a final fitting to experience the finished silhouette and discuss any final details with us. If you prefer to collect your garment without another fitting, Ikigai Tailoring can also arrange this according to your preference.
Your measurements and personal preferences will be retained to make future commissions more convenient. As your physique or preferences evolve over time, we can arrange a consultation to update your measurements and make adjustments according to your needs.
